I honestly wonder why people are surprised. I figure I read an article about this sort of thing once a year. In some random city they collect samples of fish and genetically test them, and voila they’re not what they’re supposed to be. Quite frankly I thought it was essentially common knowlege that most restaurants do this. Kind of a knowing wink sort of thing.
Still, I’m sure that I’ve had Sashimi in the past that was supposed to be one thing, and was really another. Doesn’t make me happy.
